Join our one-hour session delivered in partnership with Peninsula for an introduction to HR and employment law.

Steve Oakes (Peninsula Business Consultant, with 24 years of experience) will discuss/demonstrate the challenges businesses face on behalf of Peninsula, who receive over 10,000 calls daily from their clients.

Employees receive over 80 statutory rights like holiday pay, sick pay, maternity rights etc as an employer, you need to create your own rights with your contracts, policies, and procedures to give you the control and flexibility to manage and run your business. 

We will discuss some of the must-have policies.

A raft of employment law changes is on the way following Labour’s win in the general election and we are now seeing more and more details released on the new government’s plans to make its election pledges a reality.

Steve will discuss these main talking points, including changes to the qualifying time to claim unfair dismissal.

This will be followed by a Q&A session and the chance to book a free bespoke business consultation.
